The Woods - Harlan Coben Paul Copeland while fighting a case for a rape victim, gets a visit from two cops investigating a murder. As Copeland identifies the body of the victim as a person who was supposed to have been murdered twenty years ago, he starts on a quest to find out what really happened during that night two decades ago.

The book is a standalone, and it is written in a style which never lets the reader put it down. It has a fast and twisted plot, believable characters, and a pace which leaves the reader breathless. As a crime fiction fanatic I never ask for more, so in a nutshell I enjoyed reading it. And would recommend it to anyone who is in the mood for a fast engrossing thriller.
